As a future educator in the arts, I want to create a nexus of resources and material that relates 
to the above topics. 
Check out my blog for updates on current (or future) technology that applies to educational and artistic areas
of interest. 
As this site evolves, it will include an interactive gallery / art center map. Initially the galleries and art centers
will be those in North Eastern Ohio. Eventually I hope to encompass all of Ohio. And, ambitiously, I 
finally would like to have a nationwide database.

An early interest in art led me to explore a world full of artmaking and image creating. 
I graduated from the University of Akron in 2007 with a BFA in Painting/Drawing.
After graduation, I realized the educational environment of the studio and those early formative years had the most profound impact upon
who I was as an adult and artist. 
I recalled being in highschool, and how the art room served as a haven for me: creatively, educationally, and socially. 
If I could give that feeling back to another person, if I could open their eyes to the potential a career in the arts offered, if I could show them what artists and image makers had contributed to their everyday life... 
Then I know I will have made a difference.
